These works were commissioned by Swansea Bay Health Trust for the 2 field hospitals established at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. The call for artworks came directly from the staff, they wanted people whose loved ones were being treated in the hospitals to know that they were receiving the best care despite the temporary nature of the hospitals.
